Develop new skills. Soar to great heights. Being a Cub opens up a whole other world.

The Cub Section is the second section of the Scouting Movement for young people aged 8-10½. We run on Monday evenings.

There are many opportunities to get stuck in with all the fun. In the warmer months, we use our allotment which is perfect for our needs. We are out and about learning new skills like camping, camp cooking, and fire lighting. We offer a wide range of activities and opportunities including archery, golf, hiking, swimming and fundraising events. We normally run around 3 camps a year which often involves 2 nights away. There are lots of badges to be gained which adds to the excitement of completing the requirements, earning self-belief, confidence and being proud when they complete them.
In the winter when the weather is cold and wet, we will still go out if we have the opportunity but with an indoor backup plan. Although we are indoors, we still have fun, play lots of games and do lots of badge work which can not be completed outdoors. If you would like to join our Pack or have any questions, then get in touch with us today.

We are always looking for parent help on evenings and activities so if you would like to get involved as a helper or even becoming a Leader then please get in touch online or speak to Suzi (Red Fox) or Dom.
